EHARA TAKU TOA I TE TOA TAKITAHI - ENGARI HE TOA TAKITINI.
Success is not one working in isolation - but the work of many working together.
My work.
I bring a Māori woman’s perspective to all my work in organisational strategy, people and leadership.
I work with leadership teams and Boards of organisations that have a large Māori workforce or have an impact on Māori communities to help them navigate Mātauranga Māori (Māori Knowledge), including Tikanga Māori (Cultural Authenticity), Manaakitanga (the care of others, doing the right thing by them) focusing on ensuring positive outcomes for generations to follow.
how can i help you?
I offer a distinctly Māori perspective based on my experiences as a General Manager, Doctor of Māori Development and Advancement (DMDA), Executive Director, School Principal, Wife, Mum and Nanny!
I’m fun and energetic and can form a relationship quickly with you. I’m able to work with you individually, or work with different groups and teams. I’m positive and solutions focussed, but I do like to push the boundaries and encourage us to think about what else is possible!

TESTIMONIALS
Keri is an extraordinarily inspiring leader, facilitator and influencer. Working with our Kaihautū, she helped our organisation develop our tūāpapa, and set our strategic direction. She worked to understand the specific needs we have in our journey to becoming indigenous-led and has provided practical advice in guidance in conducting rangahau with communities, consultation with Iwi, and how to work holistically towards social justice. She is always deeply respectful as well as fiercely dedicated to prioritising the needs of Māori. It has been a privilege to work alongside her over the past six years.
— Michelle Johansson Kaitiaki | CEO, Ako Mātātupu: Teach First NZ
Our mahi with Keri has been an absolute pleasure and a transformative experience. Her insights and expertise have been instrumental in evolving the work we are doing, particularly in ensuring that our program supports all learners in achieving success on their own terms.
Keri's warm and relational style creates a comfortable atmosphere, but she's not afraid to challenge us to ensure we get the best results for our tamariki.
— Andrea Dance Principal, Te Puke Primary
Keri was able to bring some much-needed change from a Te Ao Māori perspective that empowered all those involved. She uses deliberate acts of learning to challenge the status quo. Keri is provocative and disruptive yet always thought-provoking, and unwavering in bringing about improved outcomes for Māori.
